Quilchena Cares: Care for Self, Care for Others and Care for this Place

This year we have continued to focus on using consistent language throughout the school that will focus on a Social Emotional Framework: Quilchena Cares: Care for Self, Others, and for this Place.

We have been intentional when discussing with students what this can look like, sound like and feel like throughout the day.

 

Care for Self

Care for Self - How can we create opportunities for our students to learn about how they can care for themselves and be ready to learn each day?

Care for Others

Caring for Others - How can be respectful, accepting, kind and inclusive so everyone feels they are connected and have a true sense of belonging?

Care for this Place

Caring for Place - How can we connect to this place, both inside and out, and show care for our environment?
