Instructions for Registering for PAC Food Days

Our PAC Food Days are offered this year as a weekly lunch service to parents and students.  This program is one of the PAC's sources of fundraising and is completely organized and run by Quilchena parent/guardian volunteers.  This year our Food Days are offered once a week on Mondays; it will be on a Tuesday if the Monday is a holiday or a Pro-D day. 

Ordering and payment deadlines for:

Term 1 (October to December) by Sept 24, 2023.

Term 2 (January to March) TBD

Term 3 (April to June) TBD

Registration in HotLunches.net system: 

You must register yourself and add your child (ren) in the Hotlunches.net system EVERY NEW SCHOOL YEAR before you can order and pay for your food days.

How to register:

  1. Go to quilchenapac.hotlunches.net
  2. Go to “Click here to register”.
  3. Choose user type: Parent.  Enter PARENT’S NAME (not the child), cell phone number, and email address.
  4. Enter a password and enter again to verify it is correct. Click “register now”.
  5. In the Home page, click on the “STUDENTS” button to add your child in the system.
  6. Enter CHILD’S first and last name.
  7. Under “Class”, Choose your child’s teacher/division.   Click “insert”. (make sure you choose the correct teacher!).  Done!  You will receive an email that confirms your registration.
  8. To add your other children, click the “ADD NEW” button, and continue as in Step # 6 & 7.

Important information:

Online payment for food days is by credit card only within the hotlunches.net system.  No cash accepted.

There is a 25 cents processing fee for EACH credit card transaction.  We suggest that you place orders and pay for your child(ren) for all available food days in one transaction, so you won’t be charged the fee each time. 

Please order promptly ahead of time and note the ordering deadline!  Once the ordering deadline has closed, we cannot accept any late orders. 

Please take care in placing your child's orders. Due to the volume of orders, we will not be able to make any changes or cancellations once the ordering deadline has closed.  

If your child is absent on a food day, their lunch can be picked up from the school office by 12:30pm or you can choose to donate it to another child. You can call the school office to arrange this.  Sorry, no refunds.
