For the 2025-2026 school year, we will continue our Math journey and continue to focus on improving student learning in Math and Numeracy. Mathematics provides the foundational knowledge and skills, while numeracy applies that knowledge to solve real-world problems and make sense of the world across all learning areas. Numeracy is the practical application of math, focusing on using concepts like number sense, data analysis, and measurement to interpret information and communicate solutions in various contexts. By focussing on math routines, a growth mindset and numeracy tasks, we hope to improve student confidence and competence in mathematics.
